Julie (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Professional Counselor who received her M.A. in Professional Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis and certificate in Eating Disorders from Lewis & Clark College. Julie specializes in weight and body image-related worries as well as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life-transitions. She emphasizes Health at Every Size®, Intuitive Eating, mindfulness based practices, body-mind connection, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.

My hope is this is a safe space for ALL people regardless of their ethnicity, race, gender, size, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, religion, and background.


Yoga can be for every body and this class provides a safe space for anyone at any size to become more in tune with their body. Yoga for Bigger Bodies is designed to bring yoga to those who feel that the traditional class setting is not providing the support and encouragement that is needed to feel successful in yoga.

Yoga for Bigger Bodies is a gentle yoga class that provides mindfulness, self-care, and mind/body/spirit connection. This class will provide you with tools that will help build strength, flexibility, and confidence not just physically but also mentally.

Julie traditionally holds retreats twice a year. If you have never treated yourself to a retreat, this is a great introduction into the art and practice of rejuvenation. Offered in a safe, body positive and beautiful setting, these retreats are a way of going deeper into yoga and emphasizes a healing relationship with body and mind.
